CARC, in collaboration with STRANGE FIELD, presents a new exhibition in Glasgow this August.

Every mega-event drags art along with it, usually the sponsor-friendly kind that vanishes the week after. So I came to The Art of the Game ready to be unimpressed. What changed my mind is small but real: it actually lives in the street. Twenty-three artists, one form, the football, treated as a surface to work on, scattered across the five boroughs and into New Jersey. No ticket, no gallery. You turn a corner and there one is. Uneven by definition, but free, public, and worth it.

NEITHER / NOR: The Intimate Geography of Contradictions, curated by Michaëla Hadji-Minaglou and Alina Khalitova, brought together lithographs from the Nina Miller Collection alongside seven contemporary artists at Indra Gallery, London, 2–5 March 2026, placing historical works by Paul Wunderlich in dialogue with contemporary practice.

Jackson Harvey's Weight of Afternoon (2024) was presented at Fold Gallery, London, in November 2024. The work continued Harvey's investigation into stillness and duration, examining the way light accumulates on surfaces over time.

Lucas Ferreira's The Weight of Humanity . Exhibition organised in collaboration with Eastside Projects, Birmingham. Taking the myth of Atlas as its departure point, the exhibition placed Ferreira's gestural paintings of fragmented, faceless figures alongside replica classical sculptures, examining the collective burden of war, displacement, and cultural fragmentation.

Wei Mingzhu's The Dialectics of Identity and Perception ran at The Small Gallery, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, from 18 August to 6 September 2022, curated by Jo Hastie. The exhibition examined identity as a condition of constant negotiation, using geometric pattern and silhouetted figuration to trace the tension between what is visible and what remains concealed.
